Day 2/Night 3:
Middleton Place- Bride and groom to Middleton Place can experience 65 acres of formal landscaped gardens and explore the working Plantation Stableyards where costumed interpreters demonstrate the skills once performed by slaves. As part of the general admission, visitors can participate in an African American Focus Tour, Nature Walk and Garden Overview Tour. Also included is a 45-minute horse-drawn carriage ride through a bamboo forest and woodlands to an abandoned rice field where Carolina Gold once flourished.

Food and Wine 101 Package

This two night (Friday and Saturday) package includes accommodations for two people in a standard room in one of downtown, historic Charleston’s finest Inns, Kings Courtyard Inn or Fulton Lane Inn.  Both inns are located just a few blocks from Francis Marion Square – the site of the 2011 Wine and Food Festival. Guests will enjoy their complimentary continental breakfast before exploring our historic city and all its sites. Guests will begin their weekend on Friday afternoon (3:00-6:00pm) with tickets to the Wine and Food Festival’s Lower King Street Sip and Stroll which will take them through some of Charleston’s finest shops and boutiques while sipping on fine wines at each stop. On Saturday afternoon (3:00-6:00pm) guests will enjoy the fantastic Culinary Village at Francis Marion Square where they will experience many samples of the finest food Charleston and the Southeast have to offer as well as taste wines from all over the country.  This two night package has limited availability and is offered at a special rate of $720 for two people.  A deposit of 50% of the package price will be due at time of reservation.  Cancellation is 14 days prior to arrival – any cancellations after this date will forfeit their deposit.

Food and Wine 202 Package

This two night (Friday and Saturday) package includes accommodations for two people in a standard room in one of downtown, historic Charleston’s finest Inns, Kings Courtyard Inn or Fulton Lane Inn.  Both inns are located just a few blocks from Francis Marion Square – the site of the 2011 Wine and Food Festival. Guests will enjoy their complimentary continental breakfast before exploring our historic city and all its sites.  Guests will begin their weekend on Friday evening at a new festival event – Bubbles + Bites (6:00-8:00pm). Situated on the rooftop of a restaurant in Charleston’s French Quarter guests will enjoy sweeping views of the harbor while sipping on sparkling wine and cocktails and nibbling on indigenous SC seafood prepared 3 ways by local chefs. On Saturday afternoon (3:00-6:00pm) guests will enjoy the fantastic Culinary Village at Francis Marion Square where they will experience many samples of the finest food Charleston and the Southeast have to offer as well as taste wines from all over the country.  Saturday evening guests will be picked up by a rickshaw (roundtrip) and taken to dinner at AAA Four diamond/Forbes 4 star Circa 1886 Restaurant where executive chef, Marc Collins, who was instrumental in starting the festival, will treat you to a three course dinner paired with wines  (www.circa1886.com) This two night package has limited availability and is offered at a special rate of $950 for two people.  A deposit of 50% of the package price will be due at time of reservation.  Cancellation is 14 days prior to arrival – any cancellations after this date will forfeit their deposit.
