Family Activities: 

• For the perfect family-oriented activity, look no further than Boone Hall Plantation and Gardens. Located in Mt. Pleasant, this historic Lowcountry landmark has been celebrating spooky season since 1997. Starting Friday, October 7th, and going until October 30th, Boone Hall will have a pumpkin patch, eight-acre corn maze, haunted house, tractor rides, fight nights, and so much more. • Nothing says ghosts like a night-time tour of Magnolia Cemetary guided by Bulldog Tours! This tour is the first official walking tour of the historic site, previously off limits to commercial tour companies. The 90-minute walking tours promise the best of Magnolia's history, mystery, and spirits. You'll hear startling stories about the unsolved murder of a socialite, an outraged politician who ordered his butler's execution, and scandalous tragedies never written about in history books. • If you are looking for a more budget-friendly excursion, check out some of the stunning homes around the Charleston peninsula. From the Battery to Broad Street and beyond, the homes around downtown are dressed for the Halloween occasion. Walking around downtown without Halloween decorations is already stunning, but the added Halloween element makes it a whole new (spooky) experience. • The second option is Trick or Drink: Charleston Halloween Bar Crawl, this three-day excursion starts on Friday, October 28th, continuing to Saturday, October 29th, and ends on Monday, October 31st. Festivities kick off at John King Dueling Piano Bar and continue to King Street favorites such as The Rarebit and Silver Dollar.
