It’s summer, and one of our favorite reasons to love the season is the fresh food and fun events at some of our local farmer’s markets.

Held each Monday, the Folly Beach Farmers Market makes a point of fostering a locally sourced and sustainably focused community. Pick up produce from Rosebank Farms, beans from Big Kick Coffee and chocolate from Cocoa Academic. Peruse the art, candles and home goods, too, while taking in the live entertainment from local musicians. Head to the North Charleston Farmers Market every Thursday through October where you’ll find food trucks, fun for the kids and live entertainment mixed in with the market vendors. Make your way to Marion Square for the Charleston Farmers Market, ranked by Travel + Leisure as one of the top 10 best in the nation. Stop by every Saturday through November for local meats, crafts, community groups and more!
